Description

In this study, many physical and chemical properties of soil, changing with irrigation and drainage, were experimented by dividing them into changes followed with leaching loss of manure and with cultivation of rice. As the results, following conclusions were obtained. 1. Manure contents of the soil decreased exponentially with irrigation and drainage, and came to about 1/5 of the first value. 2. Though physical properties of soil, such as the increase of soil moisture in low pF region, changed regularly with the cultivation of rice, chemical ones changed irregularly with it. 3. The contents of aggrigate and organic matter of soil were decreased with leaching loss of manure and were increased with cultivation of rice. By expression these changes of properties in terms of indices, it is concluded that these properties of soil may be controlled by reasonable management and cultivation.

かんがい排水に伴う土壌の物理・化学性の変化を, 肥効成分の溶脱に伴うものと, 水稲の栽培に伴うものとに分離して検討を行なった. その結果, 以下のことが判明した. 1. かんがい排水により肥効成分は指数関数的に減少し, 最終的には約1/5となった. 2. 水稲の栽培によって土壌の物理性の変化は, 低pF領域における水分量の増加のように一定の傾向を示すが, 化学性の変化はまちまちである. 3. 団粒率, 有機物含有率は, 肥効成分の溶脱に伴って減少するが, 水稲の栽培の結果増大する. これらを総合的に指数で表わした結果, 栽培管理の方法いかんによって, 土壌の諸性質がある程度制御できるのではないかと考える.
