Description |
Floral initiation and development of Calanth Bicolor were determined by using a scanning electron microscope. Floral initiation occurred in the axis of the lowest true leaf on a new shoot in July. The shoot apex of the axis produced leaves, and each axillary bud swelled and developed into a floret, resulting in inflorescence formation. The apex of the axillary bud swelled and the top concaved horizontally. Then three sepals and petals appeared. Stamen primordia appeared as a trigonal pyramidal protuberance that developed into an anther cap and pollinia. Below the stamen primordia three structures appeared and developed into a column. Ovules were premature when flowers opened, and developed until 50 days after pollination. タカネエビネ(Calanthe Bicolor)の花芽分化と発達過程を走査型電子顕微鏡で観察した.花芽分化は,7月初旬に新シュートの最下位本葉の葉腋が発達することで始まった.腋芽は葉を分化し続けて上方に伸びた.第2番目以降の葉腋が連続して肥大し小花へと発達して花序を形成した.花序の発達後期でも,生長点は葉を分化し続けた.小花の分化は腋芽の肥大に始まり,3枚のガク片と花弁,その内側に雄ずいが分化した.雄ずいの先端は葯帽となり,その内側に花粉塊が形成された.雄ずいの下部が3つに分かれ,その中央は平たくなり先端が小嘴体となり,左右の突起はずい柱に発達,その基部は柱頭となった.開花時には未熟であった胚珠は受粉50日目までにほぼ完成した. |
